For our first project we will be working on "Digital Storytelling". We will be using GoAnimate. This blog will be sharing new things we are finding out about the program. Hints for others and sharing your journey as you work on this project. What part you find difficult, what you enjoy, etc. I welcome all your feedback. While working on the project make sure and follow my directions carefully.

Goanimate is a fun way of learning! I am having trouble learning how to make people do certain things but as i work harder I understand more and more. I think its a fun way to have the class interact in ways of learning!

I foumd put that you can make many different awesome features and characters Also, you can find the right characters and backgrounds four our projects if you know where to look.
Goanimate is hard and a little easy to me. Here is a hint, probably a lot of people already found out, but if you go under the "Community Stuff" tab while editing you can ge a wider range of backgrounds, characters, props, etc. What I enjoyed the most about Goanimate is that it is really interesting to see (at the end) what you have created and how the system makes it look so professional.
For me, finding an object that could be used for my star was hard. I found a shape of a star but it wasn't original. So, here is a tip...props/items can also be used as stars, meteors, comets, etc. I used a mosaic circle for my star and it actually looks good. Also, under the theme "Star Trek" I found most of the props and backgrounds for my star story.
I love the goanimate project!!! Creating the cartoons are so much fun! If i knew we were going to create cartoons on the star stories, I would have made my story a lot more interesting. I have a feeling that my cartoon isn't going to be that interesting...
In Goanimate i learned their isn't an option for everything like the sun. It is a fun and exciting work in progress. I can't wait to get back working on it.
In GoAnimate I have learned that there is not a feature or option for all the animations. But the world of GoAnimate is very fun, to explore the different things and animations you can make.
I'm having more of a difficult time with the animations. I can't really figure out how to make the "call-out bubbles" appear and fade out when needed. I like how I can use different objectives that are in the program in place of adjetives that were in my story. I think that will really had to my animation. Overall, I believe that I still have a lot of work ahead of me in this animation protject!
i think go animate is pretty fun, and im getting pretty far in my m0vie.I still have some work to do, but hopefully it will turn out ok. :)
GoAnimate is kind of hard to get the hang of. I'm still having a little trouble getting the characters and objects to move when there are supposed to. I can't find the right objects in my story but I like how we can see our story come to life. I can't wait to see the finished movie.
I think that Goanimate is fun. I like it because I think it is different than other things we have done in computer class. You really have to look hard to figure out the different things that are there to make your story more interesting. Some things are harder than others. :)
I really enjoy working on this project!! It's a lot of fun!I learned that go go animate is a really cool and easy way to express yourself, and do school projects! It's a little difficult because if you want to do a certain thing, you have to look through a lot of different stuff... but, over all its pretty easy.
I thin GoAnmiate is a fun way to tell our storys plus is alot of fun to make different backrounds and effects. Can't wait to get back to work on it.
I actually think that this is a pretty cool site. I like the fact that you can pick so many different things to put into your story. GoAnimate is well put together and there are many people on it, but I wish that the creation process could be a little less difficult than it currently is.
Goanimate is a fun project once you get the hang of things. When I first got on, I didn't have a clue on what to do. Now I think It's the easiest thing ever. When I was looking for stars I realized that we have to create them.
I like how the system has a little bit of everything. You can always find something to go on the slides. Can't wait to see what else there is on Goanimate.
I think that GoAnimate is pretty fun but it doesn't always have the props that I am looking for or the facial express that i need. Other than that it is pretty easy for me to understand. I think it is a really awesome way to illastrate my report and I cannot wait to continue working on it!
I think goanimate is not useful for this project i just haven't found anything helpful for my animation. I hope this will get a bit more helpful.
I love Go Animate!!! If I knew it existed I would have done it a lot sooner. I am extremely happy Mrs. Fitz introduced us too it. It is a fun way to do school work.
Goanimate is fun to use. I enjoy making videos and find the effects which are under the button that says FX and the props under the button with the basket ball on it useful in making the presentation better.
The blog however is not as easy to use as the website(just kidding).

Goanimate is fun but it does not have all the props I need. The characters dont go with the star story theme in my opinion. The good thing is that it allows you to add your own characters and props with photoshop. I created my own star with it and my story is back on track. All together its fun and a great way to make my story come to life.
Goanimate is a fun sight, but it is also a hard sight. There are many good qualities on my show, but my people keep repeating the same actions over and over again in each slide. Im really excited to see how everyones shows truned out in the end!

Go animate is an awsome website. I love playing around with the characters and backrounds. I think that go animate is a fun web site because yuo get to put good and funny things in your project. I thought go animate was hard to do at first and then it got easier to do after I got the hang of it. I wish that the site had a few more backrounds to choose from so you can have more fun with it. goanimate is fun, i have not really been on it much. The animations are a little difficult but other then thats its a very fun project. I really like how i can make the stories.

Goanimate is a fun way to learn. I think this is a cool class. you can make aliens, and other people by swiching their heads on to different bodys. I think it will alot more fun once i can just figure out how to time things just right so it happens when you want it to and not when you don't want it to.
Goanimate is a great way to express your fealings. Its fun and not hard to learn. Continuing this for years to come is a great idea.
I did a little of my GoAnimate for class, but also explored so of the other stuuf on GoAnimate by making some other videos.
I recently was on Goanimate, and enjoyed all the creative and new ideas that the site had. As I was working on my slides I had to take time and make sure that everything was in place.
During this time that we are given, to work on our projects. We all have an oppertunity to see, and do great things. So that people can see what great people we are, and that anyone can do Goanimate. If they just try and have fun doing it.
For the second blog about Goanimate, I would like to change my view on how I like this project. Last time I said: "Goanimante is hard and a little easy to me." Now that I went back to my Goanimate presentation, I realized that I probably didn't understand what I was doing, because everything was messed up in a few slides. It wasn't the best.But now I have a larger variety of ideas because my creativity turned up a notch. I added about 5 new slides to my presentation and all sorts of new graphics and characters.
I would have to say that now my presentation is a lot better and it flows smoother. I think that it is very interesting to see my presentation become like an actual cartoon on TV. I love it and can't wait until I finish all of the slides. :)
I think that go animate is great for those who are creative and fun. No one gets bored on go animate. com because there is so much to do on it like make your own videos and characters or watch other peoples videos too.

Goanimate is fun, and i still have alot to do for my story. I learned that you can put up manye pictures you just have to look at the right places.

I got so much done on my cartoon during the 45 min. at home! I'm pretty much finished. I just got to touch up and add more effects in some places. I love my opening i added on and the ending effects. I had to work with the animations stuff a little bit, but it was worth it. Some of the backrounds under other categories are pretty cool, too. The music was hard to pick out in my opinion. There was only two songs that were long enough and went along with my animation. It was a very hard choice between those two tunes. I am REALLY looking to sharing my cartoon with the class.
I am enjoying GoAnimate so far and I am coming close to finishing my story. Right now I am choosing my sound effects and I am having some trouble finding the sound I like. Also I am having issues with the timing of my slides. Other than that though, I think that this site is fun and a neat way to create my project!
I still don't fully understand goanimate, it never does what I want it to do which makes me very frustrated. I have finally decided a unique way to tell my star story though. I was looking at the rubric the other day and realized that I haven't even considered any music for the animation. I think picking out the music will be a fun part of this project to do. The music should really bring something extra to the whole animation. I know that I still have a lot of work ahead of me to work on for this project!!
Goanimae is fun to use. The variety of characters and backgrounds are useful for adding to your presentation. The characters from the political section are my favorite to use.
GoAnimate is still as fun as before. I have just figured out how to make my characters act more like my story says they should, to go along with whats happining. I was playing with the sounds and trying to match up my characters mouths with the sounds. Its kind of difficut, but i would have to say,not being a profesional and all, that its very good. Goanimate is getting easier everytime I get on. You have to really look at all the details and during my 45 minutes I just basically worked on finishing my story. It is almost done but I want to go back and figure out what all the different buttons do. As my story continues it's getting more and more fun to write because of the way Goanimate is layed out and what it has to offer.
I am so close to finishing my Goanimate project. By the end of this week I should be done but then I could just do touch up's. When I take my time and work on Goanimate. During this time will see the hard work that, Goanimate has put into this site. Producers that decided to do this, had a great idea.
They have a lot of stuff on Goanimate, you can choose pretty much anything. You just need to look around and see what you can find.
I had a blast! 45 min. to work on my project. I and 6 new slides and pictures such as tears or my white dwarf stars. I would not mind doing this again and cant wait till friday.
Goanimate is really fun!! I learned that you can change almost anything!! yeah, im sure most of you knew that, but when i couldnt find the right shade of a color ( im very exact with it) i looked trough some setting and but the color i wanted!! its really cool!! i actually enjoying this assinment...
I'm lost. what am I supposed to be doing? Help! all I did was create a character (myself) and set a background. Now what do I do? How does everyone have time to do this?
I spent 45 min doing just those two things.
I am enjoying Goanimat..but its a little to high teck for me. I cant find the right sounds for the right scenes. This is taking longer than i thought so I am not too close to finishing. I guess I have to keep working and stop getting frusterated. I think that eventually I will become better and more knowledgeble about the website.

During my 45 minutes I did alot of work. I added previews to my story like a movie, which was alot of fun. Goanimate is very exciting once you get the hang of it but can also be a pain in the rear. Sometimes Goanimate doesnt have exactley what I need and I have to make use out of what I have. Over all I think that my story will turn out fine. Goanimate is so much fun and can't wait to go animate.
when I went on to GoAnimate I started to add music to my story about my star. I still can't figure out how to time everything just right. i'm almost do with my video. I think that it is a cool way to do a project.

GoAnimate is fun when it works. From using GoAnimate and creating my story, I have learned that technology does not always do what you want it to. When I tried to move some of my people or change the size of something, it wouldn't let me. I was able to change the size the first time, so I don't know what happened. When I am able to change things around and have it fit together nicely, it's really cool. This is a fun way to publish a story other than typing it up again and again. I like how you can design your own characters to look however you want them to.
It's still hard to find out how to work everything, but I think if I keep trying my movie will turn out okay. Overall, when the program works the way I want it to, I actually have fun putting my story into action.
During the 45 minutes of my goanimate assignment I learned how to make the people high five eachother at the same time. It took me a while to learn how to do that but the good thing is I learned. I am having trouble picking the right music for the right scene. There is not a good salection of music for my taste, but I will work around that. So far this website has been very fun. I think I am also learning not to get frusterated easly, which is a trait I needed to lean. I am not too close to finishing but I will keep working and soon it will be complete.

Goanimate is a very fun site. I have learned lots of new things with it and have had fun. There are some things that I don't like about it, like that there isn't that main characters and slides to choose from. Other then the characters and and slides I really like the site. I hope that we do more things over the year with this site.
I learned on Goanimate how to make characters. I could never do that before and now I can. I can make the characters look anyway I want them to and I love creating characters out of my minds eye.
On Tuesday I went on goanimate. During that 45 minutes, I learned how to put music into my show, but I had some problems. Some of the music wouldn't play. I did blog but for some reason it's not on here.
I'm glad i checked the site to make sure it got published.
I spent 9 1/2 hours this past weekend completing this project. Once I got into it, I found it to be fun to point of being addictive.
I like using humor in my cartoons to keep the audience interested, while still presenting the information necessary to get the main idea across. Parts of the assignment were frustrating and difficult to me such as: confining the duration of the video to 3 minutes, changing the music timing to suit the shortened duration of the individual scenes, and the little details necessary to make the project understandable. The next time I think I'll complete all my scenes first and then add the music and sound effects. I'd also like to not be constrained as to the content of the video because it was hard to put such dry
scientific information into a forum which is typically funny. I watched some of the my classmates' videos and got some inspiration from them. Also, reading others' blogs on this site was helpful in some instances.
So far, i like Goanimate. I have learned many different things on how to create a story but still am wondering how to make certain things make certain movements. i have watched the public videos and still wonder how they can make their characters do that.
